Ideally
located for a relaxing holiday in The Cotswolds
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our
beautiful
historic location was featured in the article
Broadway's part in the English Civil War in
September 2008's issue of
Worcestershire Life
and
Oxfordshire Life Magazine.
Broadway is renowned for its art and antique
galleries, specialist shops, fine restaurants and tea-rooms. The
village is often referred to as 'The Show Village of England' and the
'Jewel of the Cotswolds'. The village grew along the 'broad way',
its wide grass-fringed High Street lined with red chestnut trees and
honey-coloured Cotswold limestone buildings many dating back to the 16th
Century. An interesting article on Broadway's artistic heritage appeared in
May's edition of Country Life. Click
here to see the article.
Broadway serves as a natural base from which
to explore The Cotswolds (www.cotswoldsaonb.org.uk) or see
the horse racing during Cheltenham Gold Cup week and National Hunt
Festival. Why not give your car a holiday whilst you stay with us? There are plenty of
places to visit and things to do within walking distance see 'Have
a Car Free Day'.
