Broadway is renowned for its art and antique galleries, specialist shops, fine restaurants and tea-rooms.  The village is often referred to as 'The Show Village of England' and the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds'.  The village grew along the 'broad way', its wide grass-fringed High Street lined with red chestnut trees and honey-coloured Cotswold limestone buildings many dating back to the 16th Century.

Broadway serves as a natural base from which to explore The Cotswolds (www.cotswoldsaonb.org.uk) or see the horse racing during Cheltenham Gold Cup week and National Hunt Festival.  Local attractions include:

  • Broadway Tower on top of the Cotswold escarpment in Broadway Country Park (www.broadwaytower.co.uk)

  • Broadway Activity Park

  • Broadway Gravel Pit Nature Reserve

  • Gordon Russell Trust Museum

  • Snowshill Manor owned by the National Trust
